Stolen part 4 (Mark and Jack)

Mark's pov

I went with the cops to the scene. They went in and arrested the men. I slowly drove back to the hospital. I never would have thought I was going to hear what I did.

There were cops outside. I walked into the lobby and was stopped by the doctor that was looking over Jack. The doctor seemed frightened. I stared at him and realized something was wrong.

"What happened….?" I sternly asked. The doctor looked around. "He ran away… We don’t know how but he just-" I shut the doctor up real quick. "What the hell do you mean he just ran away!!?" Before the doctor could reply I ran out to the cops outside. "Where did he go?! Do you guys know anything yet?" I tried to calmly ask but it came out more stern. The cops only, sadly, shook their heads.

I ran over and got in my car. The fear filled me and tears automatically formed. I pulled out my phone and called his phone. "Oh god jack pleeease! Answer!" I threw my head back into the head rest. The phone picked up. There was heavy breathing on the other side. "J…Jack?" I asked quietly.

I then heard Jack sobbing. "Jack…Where are you?" I commanded for an answer. "Mark…. Please just… im sorry…." He sounded breathless. "Ja-" He hung up. I sat there and stared at my phone. I had no idea where he was. I couldn’t go to his rescue. I didn't know what to do… so I just sat there.

I felt so lifeless all of a sudden. I tried over and over to call him but he wouldn’t answer. I finally ran out of tears and I could see to drive. I drove home slowly. I pulled up to my place and put my car in park. I walked up to the door to only be broken even worse.
